In the last 30 years, hip hop has attracted an international audience, growing from an art form to a state of being. This forum will focus on the phenomenal growth of hip hop culture and how it has influenced both popular culture and the global economy.

Martha Diaz – filmmaker and President of the Hip Hop Association

Honorable George Martinez aka “Rithm” – Chairman, Hip Hop Association and U.S. State Department Cultural Ambassador

Toni Blackman – U.S. State Department Hip Hop Ambassador

Danny Hoch – actor, playwright, director, and founder of the Hip Hop Theatre Festival

Minya Oh aka “Miss Info” – entertainment writer, journalist and on-air personality on NY radio station Hot 97

Hassan McMillan aka “Brother Hahz” – Christian hip hop artist, CEO of Heartfelt Music Group

We will also feature various hip hop performances by artists from around the globe.
